About Psychologists
Psychologists are professionally regulated by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency who ensure that registered health practitioners are suitably trained, qualified and safe to practise.
What can psychologists help with?
Psychologists have studied human behaviour, the brain, how people think, feel, learn and behave. They use evidence-based approaches tailored to each client and assess, diagnose and treat a wide range of concerns. They are trained to assist people who are having difficulty coping or adjusting to life challenges.

About Paula, Psychologist
Hello - I live and work on Kabi Kabi and Jinibara country. I am an AHPRA registered Psychologist with continuing specialist training in sensorimotor psychotherapy, a somatic approach to trauma and attachment difficulties impacting the body.

I have worked in private practice, with Queensland Health, with a First Nations service working rurally, and as a volunteer supporting disaster responses. This has involved working across the lifespan supporting people facing complex trauma, acute medical challenges and associated traumas, psychosocial difficulties, disabilities, mental health struggles.

I am particularly passionate about trauma work, how healing often lies beyond words, and how the physiology and the body can bring us strengths, resources, and wisdom. I also have an interest in the use of technologies in support of emotional regulation.

I look forward to meeting you.
